![]() After I set up the finish chute at the race site I move the table all the way back to the rear. Other items are packed in a tub and placed under the table along with big clock & tripod, ropes, cones electrical cords laser printer, etc. As far as secuing the table, I move it forward not quite to the front seats so I can put my chute posts in the rear of the E. Luckily it was at the end of the race and I already had the times captured on disk. ![]() The old laptops used for the stopwatches do not have battery power so they failed. One time though in my previous vehicle with same setup (Dodge Caravan) I ran the battery down and lost power. The 3 laptops can run off an inverter plugged into the 12v socket. Only need the 120v for the laser printer. If no outlet say for a trail run I use a generator. I run electrical cords to the nearest outlet. The office runs off 120v AC (see cord running up the side). Chair legs were cut off about 2.5 inches. Headroom is nil, my head touches if I sit straight up. Yes that old Compaq Contura 430C laptop is an oldie, 12 years old maybe more, only used as a stopwatch now, running Win95. Many runners come up to the E and just smile. I get the same reaction in the field when I'm scoring events.
